FREE PARKING!

Free parking will be available in the unreserved spaces of the Manning (S11) lot, Smith (S11) lot and the Bowles (S11) lot during the hours of the blood drive. Event parking signs will help identify the designated parking lots.

For the convenience of the donors and as a token of our appreciation, golf carts will be available to provide rides back to the Smith Center S11 parking lots from the Red Cross tent located in front of the Smith Center near the “A Entrance.”

Chapel Hill Transit U and RU routes

The “U” bus departs from the Smith Center and turns onto Manning Drive, then onto Columbia Street and then onto Franklin Street. From Franklin Street it would normally turn onto Raleigh Street, but due to summer construction will turn onto Boundary Street. It will then make its way down South Road, turn onto Stadium Drive and then onto Ridge Road. From Ridge Road, it will go to the Smith Center.

The “RU” bus departs from the Smith Center and goes down Ridge Road past the Law School and then turns up South Road to Raleigh Street and goes to Cameron Avenue to Pittsboro Street and back down Manning Drive. There may be a slight alternation which may cause the bus to cross South Road onto Country Club and follow Country Club Road to Cameron Avenue and then Pittsboro Street during the summer construction on Raleigh Street.
